Turner Hall of Monroe is a historic Swiss heritage center in Monroe, Wisconsin, with an authentic Old World Ratskeller Restaurant, an elegant Grand Hall featuring one of the area’s largest wooden dance floors, and a family bowling facility. Established in 1868 and believed to be the only Turner Hall of Swiss origin still operating in the United States, the Swiss Emmenthal-style chalet was designed by German architect Max Hanisch and is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), it presents the Swiss Heritage Series of concerts and cultural programs and hosts the annual Christkindlmarkt.
