Founded in 1925, the Houston Liederkranz is a 501(c)(3) German cultural and social club that promotes German language, music, and customs in Houston. Members gather at the clubhouse on Ella Boulevard for choir and Shanty-Chor rehearsals, Tuesday socials with Skat and German beers on tap, Oktoberfest, Silvester, and other community events. The hall is also available for private celebrations.
