The United German Hungarians of Philadelphia and Vicinity is a historic German-American cultural club founded in 1910 as the Banater Männerchor by ethnic Germans from the former Kingdom of Hungary, especially the Banat and Danube regions. Today the club keeps that heritage alive at its Oakford clubhouse with Schuhplattler dance, soccer, Kirchweih celebrations, and community events for members and guests. The grounds and hall on Bristol Road have been the club’s home since the mid-twentieth century, continuing a proud tradition of culture, sport, and fellowship in Bucks County.
