The GAF Society preserves German-American and Swiss-American heritage in Northwest Ohio from its Oak Shade Grove grounds in Oregon. Best known for organizing the region’s largest ethnic festival each August, the society also maintains year-round venue facilities on its nearly 100-acre campus.Oak Shade Grove offers the Chalet hall for indoor gatherings, the Schwabenhalle picnic pavilion, and the Black Forest Cafe. Visitors and members enjoy festival traditions, community events, and rentals for weddings and celebrations.
