Louisville Turners (American Turners of Louisville) is the city’s oldest sports and social club, rooted in the German Turner tradition of a sound mind in a sound body. The riverside Turners Park campus on River Road offers members swimming, softball, bowling, pickleball, a lounge, and a well-known circus and aerial arts program.Founded as part of the nationwide American Turners movement brought by German immigrants, the club remains a community hub for athletics, events, and facility rentals just minutes from downtown Louisville.
