The German-American Heritage Museum of the USA opened in 2010 in historic Hockemeyer Hall at 719 Sixth Street NW in Washington, DC. Operated by the German-American Heritage Foundation of the USA, it presents exhibits and programs on German-speaking heritage and the contributions of German Americans. Current hours are typically Tuesday–Thursday 11am–5pm, Friday 3–7pm until further notice, and closed Saturday–Monday. Read more...
