Founded in 1854, the Sacramento Turn Verein is Sacramento’s historic center for German traditions and the city’s oldest still-active institution. Originally a gymnastics club, it hosts language study, social events, and Sacramento’s longest-running Oktoberfest under the motto Frisch, Fromm, Fröhlich, Frei.
