38th Annual Wendish Fest 2026 — Texas Wendish Heritage Museum

The Texas Wendish Heritage Society hosts its annual Wendish Fest on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum, 1011 County Road 212, Giddings, Texas. The free family festival highlights Wendish history and culture with museum tours, folklife exhibits and demonstrations, a traditional Wendish lunch, live music by the Shiner Hobo Band, performances by Tanzenfest Volkstanzkreis, a coffee cake bake-off and auction supporting scholarships, and children’s activities.
