Dayton Liederkranz-Turner hosts its annual Schlachtfest (German pig roast) on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the historic clubhouse on East Fifth Street. The prepaid feast features roast pork with traditional sides such as mashed potatoes and gravy, red cabbage, cucumber salad, rye bread, and dessert, followed by a festive evening at Dayton’s oldest German organization. Reservations are required in advance.
