On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the 69th German-American Steuben Parade marches up Fifth Avenue in New York City, celebrating German heritage, culture, music, and friendship. The parade steps off at noon from 68th Street to 86th Street. A service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral begins at 9:00 a.m., and an Oktoberfest celebration follows at SummerStage in Central Park. 2026 Grand Marshals are Jens Hanefeld, Ambassador of Germany to the United States, and Norbert R. Wirsching.
