Join us for Strong Rope Brewery’s annual Oktoberfest — the best fest for all your NYC brews!
Brews
We’ll be pouring our Oktoberfest beer, Lucky, along with festbiers from 10+ other NYC craft breweries from open to close! We’ll also be releasing Lucky in cans, so that you can take the taste of Oktoberfest to go.
Music
To get us into the Oktoberfest spirit, The Polka Brothers will be playing classic Bavarian and polka favorites, pop and rock gone polka, and unforgettable originals from 5:30-9:30 pm.
Food
Soft pretzels from Runner & Stone will be available for purchase all day. Chaat Dog will be serving up their spin on traditional German food with Chaatwurst Sausages (plus, veggie options!) from 2:00-9:00 pm.
Games
Participate in our annual steinholding contest at sunset at 7:00 pm as Lady Liberty looks on. First prize wins a gift card and choice of Strong Rope swag. Must purchase a liter stein to participate.
Fun
Long Island German Steins will be selling authentic German steins & accessories.
We’ll have beers from our friends at Endless Life Brewing, Fifth Hammer Brewing Co., Finback Brewery, Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co., Gun Hill Brewing Company, Keg & Lantern Brewing Company, Kills Boro Brewing Company, Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC), Niteglow Beer Company, Rockaway Brewing Company, Threes Brewing, and Wild East Brewing Co.
Entry is free, but you can get limited discounted Strongtoberfest commemorative steins in .5 liter and 1 liter sizes for pre-sale here! Your stein comes with a free pour and it’s yours to keep and refill throughout the night. If you purchase a 1L stein, you’ll automatically be entered into our steinholding contest.
