The Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 14th Annual Oktoberfest Family Festival on September 18–19, 2026, in downtown Norfolk, Nebraska. The free community celebration blends German heritage with Northeast Nebraska traditions—bratwurst and beer gardens, polka and live bands, stein holding (Masskrugstemmen), cornhole and bucket-pong tournaments, a kids’ zone, Wiener dog races, and the Lions Club parade. Presented with BankFirst, the festival gathers the region each fall around German food, music, and family entertainment along Norfolk Avenue.
