Kansas City United Church of Christ hosts its German-inspired Kristkindl Markt in Brookside for two festive days: Friday, December 4 from 5:00–9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 5 from 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Expect lights, carols, Father Christmas, oompah bands, market stalls with crafts and ornaments, and German foods in a Bier Garten atmosphere. Children can decorate gingerbread houses, with proceeds supporting Operation Breakthrough. The market is held at 205 W. 65th Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
