The German American Cultural Center of Metro Detroit honors the 2026/27 German-American of the Year on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at GACC Hall, 40450 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan. The afternoon includes a meal, refreshments, and traditional dance performances by G.T.E.V. Edelweiss Detroit. Reservations are required; call the GACC for seating. The GACC brings together metro Detroit’s German, Swiss, and Austrian heritage clubs for cultural recognition and community celebration.
