Join us as we celebrate our Annual Krampus Night, a frighteningly fun kind of Christmas party based on German folklore.
On Friday, December 13th, the night before our Christkindlmarkt, we invite all those Naughty AND Nice to our Annual Krampus Night!
What once was meant to frighten youngsters into good behavior, Krampusnacht in Europe has taken a twist over the decades and become a fun night of mischief, dancing, and spectating as the “Krampus” of German legend takes over.
~~This event is geared toward and most enjoyed by adults; it is a frighteningly fun kind of grown-up Christmas party! ~~
We will showcase a “Krampuslauf” (aka Krampus Run); a parade of many Krampus creatures having wild fun! Our Krampus crew will consist of AGC members only. Non members may not participate in the parade, nor wear Krampus type masks. WE WELCOME ALL SPECTATORS, BOTH NAUGHTY AND NICE!
This one-of-a-kind evening will feature a DJ to get you dancing in the gloomy evening shade, plus lots of photo ops with the many Krampuses.
German beer, wine and brats and hamburgers will be available for purchase. As well as, German schnapps, cocktails and more! $10 entry and parking is $10.

THE LEGEND OF KRAMPUS:
So the story is told, St. Nicholas and Krampus visit children on the 5th night of December. Saint Nicholas rewards the well-behaved children with modest gifts such as oranges, dried fruit, walnuts and chocolate, whilst the badly behaved ones only receive punishment with birch rods.
Check out “krampuslauf” and more in your search engine to see some of the action in Germany… if you dare!
