Sons of Hermann Hall is a historic Deep Ellum landmark at 3414 Elm Street in Dallas, built in 1910–1911 by local lodges of the German fraternal Order of the Sons of Hermann. The free-standing wood hall has long been a gathering place for fellowship, music, dance, and community, and it remains one of the city’s oldest neighborhood bars and live-music venues.Today the hall hosts concerts, weekly swing dancing, songwriter jams, weddings, and private events in its upstairs ballroom, historic bar, and former bowling-alley room. Guests find a full bar and kitchen alongside a setting that still reflects more than a century of German-American and Dallas cultural life.
