Annelore’s German Bakery has baked for the Research Triangle for more than a decade from its downtown Cary flagship. The shop draws on old-world family recipes for Black Forest cake, Donauwelle, Bee Sting cake, artisan breads, pretzels, macarons, and other German and European pastries made without preservatives or synthetic additives.Inspired by Munich and Viennese coffee houses, the 3,600-square-foot bakery cafe at 308 West Chatham Street welcomes guests for breakfast and afternoon treats seven days a week.
