Bavarian Bakery & Deli is a first-generation German bakery and delicatessen in Dover, Delaware, opened in 2017 by Monika and Jonathan Urquhart. Monika, a German-trained baker, and her brother Andy lead the baking team, turning out Bavarian rye, sourdough, sandwich rolls, pastries, and custom cakes from scratch each day.The deli side builds sandwiches with premium meats and artisan cheeses, and the shop has repeatedly earned local First State Favorites recognition for bakery and dessert. Guests can order online or visit the South DuPont Highway storefront Tuesday through Saturday.
