Tante Emma’s is a German restaurant, biergarten, and shop at 33 Market Street in Crouch, in Idaho’s Garden Valley. Owned by Stefanie and Lars Johannson, who moved from Germany in 2022, it opened Memorial Day weekend 2024 and quickly became a local favorite for authentic German fare beside the Middle Fork of the Payette River.The menu features schnitzel, pretzels, spätzle, brats, and other German staples, with riverside outdoor seating and a small shop. Hours are typically Thursday through Monday midday to evening; call ahead for seasonal changes.
